[Gate-users] cluster configuration

Hi Alan,

Speaking from my personal experience, I'm currently using Gate on a
Scientific Linux cluster with the Sun Grid Engine. I didn't setup the
system though, so I can't tell you about the details of the
configuration.

What I can tell you is that I had to add support for the Sun Grid
Engine to the Gate source code because only 4 platforms were supported
originally (openMosix, openPBS, Condor and Xgrid). If you decide to go
with Sun Grid Engine, I can send you my modified files, but I make
absolutely no guarantee. I'm not very good with programming, so my
implementation is probably not the best, but it does the job.

Cheers!
