[Gate-users] Error running Gate_v4.0.0

Hello everyone,

Me and a colleague are trying to use gate_v4.0.0 (the new version).

We installed:
CLHEP 2.0.3.2
ROOT 5.20
GEANT4.9.1.patch3

Everything worked fine after changing variables.gmk in gate for this
version of root, but when we try to run gate by simply typing it in
command line, Gate starts initializing and after it shows this error:

terminate called after throwing an instance of 'std::logic_error'
  what():  basic_string::_S_construct NULL not valid
Aborted

Did anyone have this problem? What can it be? Can you give us any
suggestion to solve it?
