[Gate-users] VMware virtual machine

I am running Gate on the VMware Player version (Scientific Linux) of
Geant4 on an XP PC with two dual core processors. I have tried running
one or two simultaneous Gate simulations; whatever I do the XP Task
Manager reports ~25% CPU usage; allowing for setup overhead the two
processes take about twice the time the single process takes. Has anyone
managed to get the VMware version to run faster with multiple
processors?
