[Gate-users] misalignment between a phantom and source

Hi Sebastien,

Actually, the user manual says that I need to shift in half dimension in
negative direction on each axis but the example shows

/gate/source/voxel/setPosition -128. -128. 0. Mm

Where there is no shift in z-direction.  The macro file I have gotten
from the benchmark does shift in negative in z direction as well as in x
& y directions.  I remember to test it and I thought I need to shift in
z direction also. Could you tell me which one is correct?

Hi,

If I understand correctly your problem, don't forget that the default 
position of the voxelized source is in the 1st quarter of the voxelized 
phantom. This is why you must shift the voxelized source over half its 
dimensions in the negative direction on each axis (as it is note in the 
users guide p. 107 - last version)
