You could use the raw output of Gate: "UserGuide 10.9 Raw Output"
This is not a real visualization and requires some simulation time. It  
shows the positions of detected
emissions in images. It is not useful to distinguish very similar activity  
ratios, but it can serve as a test to verify that there are no big errors  
in the positioning.
