Hi all,
I encountered some pbs using ecat output. I installed it rightin my work directory /home/gate
several folders were created like ecat7 or ecat++ and so. I export my variable ECAT7_HOME as /home/gate/ecat7. Then i had to reinstall gate so i didi source everything was fine but when i "make" I get these lines :
Entering source/mandatory_G4_classes ...
make[1]: Nothing to be done for `obj'.
source/mandatory_G4_classes finished
Entering source/management ...
make[1]: Nothing to be done for `obj'.
source/management finished
Using granular libraries ...
Linking Gate ...
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lecat
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make: *** [bin/Linux-g++/Gate] Error 1
I dont know if it is because ecat lib is in the wrong place and if so where should i put these ecat7 folders?
thanks in advance for any answers.
faithfully,
dounia taleb.
