[Gate-users] problem of running penchmarkPET

Hello, 

 

 I am having exactly the same problem to run the benchmarkPET as shown in
the last thread posted in the user list , did anyone finally have solution
yet?

I found  this is a very common problem being asked by many folks here but I
could not find a clear solution. Searching the web It looks like it  must be
related to output file format or some environment variable setup.. So please
advise .

 

Besides,  I indeed have implemented this as other folks suggested  

 

export G4ANALYSIS_USE_FILE=1

export G4ANALYSIS_USE_ROOT=1

export G4ANALYSIS_USE_ROOT_PLOTTER=0

And I am using ROOT 5.12 and downloaded from
ftp://root.cern.ch/root/root_v5.12.00e.Linux.slc4_amd64.gcc3.4.5.tar.gz 

I am using geant4.9.1.p01, gate_v3.1.2, the entire compiling process worked
fine. Independent applications linked with geant works fine, I also can
start the gate fine..
