Dear Natalia,

I know your problem and I think that I have solved it.
Please, three steps for I confer that is the same problem:

1) Send me your environment variables (/etc/profile (Scientific Linux CERN4) or  /etc/bash.bashrc.local (SUSE), I think your system is SUSE, right?).
2) Enter this command at your linux console:
    env>fileenv
This command will create a file with fileenv name. This file will have all your environment variables, please, send me it for analyze.
3) Send me your env_gate.sh or env_gate.csh file for analyze.
