[Gate-users] Energy of reference for spatial blurring?

I do not think GATE implemented an energy dependent spatial blurring.
i.e., the spatial resolution you set will apply to all singles passed your
selection criteria (e.g., within energy window 200-1000 keV).

For verbose level, the best practise to see difference is to compare the output files.

Subject: [Gate-users] Energy of reference for spatial blurring?

Dear Gate people,

I have a question regarding the spatial resolution in the GATE macro.
If I include the lines:

/gate/digitizer/Singles/insert spblurring
/gate/digitizer/Singles/spblurring/setSpresolution 3.0 mm
/gate/digitizer/Singles/spblurring/verbose 1

Then what is the energy of reference for this 3.0 mm value?
For the energy blurring it is clear enough, because you
include the line

/gate/digitizer/Singles/blurring/setEnergyOfReference 140.5 keV

Is the same energy used for the spatial blurring, or is there
a standard value implemented in Gate?

Also, what does the verbose setting do? What's the difference in
setting the verbose to 0 or 1?

Thanks alot in beforehand!

Kind regards,
Maria
