[Gate-users] Randoms or Random numbers

Dear Gate Users,
 
I noticed that some of Gate Users talked about Randoms or Random numbers which can not be updated if we disable root output,
and I don't know what does it mean Randoms or Random numbers and their usefulness ? I have a simulation problem and perhaps it's because of my lack of knowledge !!!
 
I will be grateful if you can explain to me please
