Dear Gators,
I am new to GATE and also to Medical Physics. Here is a quick question. I
want to set a low, monoenergy x-ray sources, and check all available full
particle list under /gate/source/NAME/gps/particle * for source setting,
should I use the type of 'gamma', or else? If so, the program would be as
follows
------------------------------------------------------
/gate/source/addSource xraysource
/gate/source/xraysource/gps/particle gamma
/gate/source/xraysource/gps/energytype Mono
/gate/source/xraysource/gps/monoenergy 60 keV
----------------------------------------------------
is that correct? and for the physics part, I shoud use /gate/physics/gamma
for all x-ray simulation, right? I only saw 'gamma' and 'optical' under
physics, and only gamma has the commands for Rayleigh, Photoelectric and
Compton that exactly I want to investigate. Thank you very much for the
help.
Best,
Yiheng
