[Gate-users] GEANT4 related question

Hello!

I am relatively new to GATE and trying to install it. I installed 
GEANT4 without any errors.
I have set up the environment variables G4WORKDIR and LD_LIBRARY_PATH 
in .bashrc file
  so I decided to check out an example and it failed to work giving the 
following error during the make process :

Linking A01app ...
/usr/bin/ld: skipping incompatible /usr/X11R6/lib/libGLU.so when 
searching for -lGLU
/usr/bin/ld: skipping incompatible /usr/X11R6/lib/libGLU.a when 
searching for -lGLU
/usr/bin/ld: skipping incompatible /usr/X11R6/lib/libXmu.so when 
searching for -lXmu
/usr/bin/ld: skipping incompatible /usr/X11R6/lib/libXmu.a when 
searching for -lXmu
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lXmu
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make: *** [/home/sonal/gate/bin/Linux-g++/A01app] Error 1

Please help me identify this incompatibility issue that has sprung up.  
Im not sure the installation of GATE will go through given these errors 
in GEANT4.
