Dear XuPing,
I've failed arbitrary source distribution before.
so I put the several mono-type sources in the same volume with different
energy and activity...
Good Luck,
MJ

Subject: [Gate-users] Arbitrary point-wise spectrum
Dear colleagues,
I'm trying to define a gamma source with a discrete spectrum. The energy
distribution type I used was the "arbitrary point-wise spectrum" or "Arb":
/gate/source/my_source/gps/energytype Arb
/gate/source/my_source/gps/histname energy
/gate/source/my_source/gps/emin 300. keV
/gate/source/my_source/gps/emax 2000. keV
/gate/source/my_source/gps/histpoint 383. 0.043
/gate/source/my_source/gps/histpoint 443. 0.183
........
/gate/source/my_source/gps/histpoint 1921. 0.224
But when I looked at the results, it seems that all the photons were
started at 1 MeV. What was the problem with my scripts? Or should I use
another energy distribution type?
Many thanks!
XuPing & Cathy
