There are a number of ways to do this, though it really depends on the PET you
are modelling, and you need to read through the user guide pdf for more
details on this.
For ECAT scanners, now Siemens, there is ecat7 and Accel sinogram outputs are
both supported, scripts and instructions can be found in the examples
directory of the Gate distribution and in the pdf user guide.
For more flexibility in the sinogram then a good start point is to use the
root output file. However, this requires that you know the geometry of the
PET you are simulating and can translate the block and crystal id into that
geometry.
I assume the same can be done with lmf output, but i have no experience with
that output.
