[Gate-users] GATE installation and GCC version

Dear all:

I am going to install GATE3.0 and Geant4 8.0p01 packages in my new 
computer:

DELL Precision 490 Xeon
FC6.0 x86_64(gcc4.1)

What I am worried about is that gcc version issue, I had hard time 
with dismatched gcc version with one required by GATE. thus, does 
anyone has experiences on GATE installation in this kind of 
environment?
