[Gate-users] msc and eioni processes

Hi Anayisse,
The "msc", or the multiple scattering, is a process for charged
particles. It computes the change of energy and direction due to -as
said by the process name- multiple scattering on nuclei. The Compton
process is for photons, it simulates the production of electrons when a
photon "bounces" onto an electron, communicating it a substantial
fraction of its energy, large enough to have this electron travelling
far from its original atom.
These processes can be disabled (but I don't know if Gate provides some
layer on top of Geant4 to do it). Why would you want to disable them ?
