Hi Guo,

All messages under the "segmentation violation" message can't help you to
find where the error is. It is only the dynamic libraries hierarchy when
Gate crashed. So when you get such an error, this means that you have few
things incompatible in your macro that Gate hasn't detected and that result
in a crash. I usually have this problem and it is usually due to a very
little mistake. 
I never used the quantum efficiency module so I can't help you more.

photo detector in my script:
