Dear Gate users,
1.
Does the *.rndm file in Gate 3.0.0 have a different from the previous Gate
versions format ?
The random seed numbers in the terminal window still looks the same as in
previous versions of Gate, but the saved endOfRun.rndm and beginOfRun.rnmd
files are quite different.
instead of usual:
"
9876
0.51493573188781738 0.049409210681915283 0.81944370269775391....
"
now it looks
"
Uvec
7969698696969869869889679
707097097
1312312
....."
Can I used somehow the "old" *.rnmd files?
My system: 64bit RHEL4
CLHEP 2.0.2.3
Geant4 8.1.p01
Root v.5.13.02
gate 3.0.0
2.
When I run my macros file, I have:
" I/O warning: failed to load external entity "Materials.xml"
GateMaterialsDatabase : did not find the Materials.xml file: no properties
read for material 'Water"
... (and so on... for all used materials)"
What does it mean? Is it some additional properties for optical transport
ONLY and all materials are defined from GateMaterial.db?
Although I disable the optical transport, I have Materials.xml in
$GATEHOME. Why the program is still looking for *.xml ignoring existing
one?
Thank you.
Sergey
