[Gate-users] neutrons with GATE

Hello everybody,

 

I was wondering if someone already tried with GATE to generate and track 14MeV neutrons and gamma photons emitted when interactions occur with surrounding matter.

We are trying nowadays to set simple simulations (point source + cube of material) to check the abilities of GATE to generate and track neutrons and their gammas.

We are facing some problems such as unexpected energy rays in gamma spectra with a non negligible level of signal.

 

Your experience in this domain would be more than welcome.
