[Gate-users] data output and image reconstruction

Hello Gate users,
the section in the Gate users guide about the outputs confused me a bit. I`m
simulating multiple headed pet and want to get sinograms from my data. Do I have
to use the ASCII output and write my own algorithm to obtain the sinogram from
the coincidence data or is there an easier way?
I have another question concerning the image reconstruction: Is there an open
source reconstruction algorithm which you could recommand? I`m not very
experienced with PET and I´m not sure if there is a good open source algorithm
for flat panel detectors.
