Xt is part of  X11. So either X11 is not installed on your machine, 
or it is not at the usual place (/usr/X11R6/lib). In your 64 bit 
environment, it might be installed in /usr/X11R6/lib64. In that case, 
edit the Gate makefile and change /usr/X11R6/lib for /usr/X11R6/lib64.
