Thank you very much for your reply. The corrections in the digitizer
setup that you mentioned are very helpful.
I'm simulating LS camera and I set it up as an ecat system. So the
readout depth of 1 corresponds to a block as in a real scanner. I also
checked my phantom script and I do have:

/gate/myphantom/attachPhantomSD

I don't really know what's going on.

I use ascii output and then count the number of recorded coincidence
with at least one Compton scatter in the phantom. According to the Gate
manual it is column #18 and #40 in gateCoincidences.dat
