[gate-users] contd. /usr/lib/ld warning

Dear Christian and all,
Thanks for the help with ROOT errors. The problem was resolved with editing the ld.so.conf file under /etc to link and include the different library locations.
The second error I got previously was 'libstdc++.so.5 may conflict with libstdc++.so.6' For this I checked for previous versions of gcc and uninstalled and reinstalled gcc3.4.4 on system. As far as I can see libstdc++.so.5 is available in /usr/lib and libstdc++.so.6 in /usr/local/lib. Should any of these be renamed or do you think some application is duplicating links?
