Dear Users,

The OpenGATE collaboration is happy to inform you that two new versions
of GATE have been released to public today. As you will see on the
gate-users download page, gate_v1.1.0 runs with Geant4 6.2.p02, and
gate_v1.2.0 with Geant4 7.0.p01. Both versions are compatible with a
new version of the lmf library that allows to encode detector ID over
16, 32 or 64 bits.

I take this opportunity to thank all users again for their constructive
collaboration through this mailing list and for making GATE a living
and evolving simulation toolkit. Being recently appointed at the
University of Aix-Marseille II, I will move to the Centre de Physique
des Particules of Marseille (CPPM) by the end of this month and leave
EPFL. Irène Buvat, from the Pitié-Salpêtrière Hospital in Paris will
take over the task of spokesperson for the OpenGATE collaboration.

I wish you will enjoy running the new versions of GATE.

Yours sincerely,

Christian Morel
