I forgot to write: you'll also find in the PET benchmark how to retrieve 
the number of decays.


Hi Bastien,

I would suggest you to use the root output. You'll find the energy for
each detected photons. If you want to simulate a perfect detector, do
not use energy blurring. Have a look on the PET benchmark to see an
example on how to use and analyze the root variables.
