Hi Martin,

First of all, thank you very much for your response

I did exactly what the LMF.pdf suggested me:

1.Install the library: untar and unzip the file LMF.tar.gz (when I
downloaded the LMF file from the web page, I directly saved it in
/usr/src/lmf/, in the same path (/usr/src/) are installed geant 4 and gate)

2.Then in /usr/src/lmf/ I typed configure

3.I compiled the library doing make clean and make in /usr/src/lmf/

4.In order to check I changed to the directory /usr/src/lmf/examples/
and executed make clean and make (in this step I could not create the
5 executables, only 4, the EXE_03 was not created).

5.I copied the lmf directory from /usr/src/ to /opt/ directory (and I
did the above steps again)

6. I defined the environement variable: setenv LMF_HOME /opt/lmf

7. And recompiled again GATE (in /usr/src/gate/:  source env_gate.csh ;
make clean ; make).

In addition, when I run the env_gate.csh scrip in the output one can see
that the LMF output is enable.

Do you have any idea if in the above steps there is any mistake???

I am looking forward for your input.

Best regards,

Irene Torres-Espallardo
