Hi Aurelien,
To have to introduce the Macor like that:
Macor: d=2.20 g/cm3 ; n=7 ; state=solid
+el: name=Oxygen ; f=0.563
+el: name=Fluorine ; f=0.04
+el: name=Boron ; f=0.028
+el: name=Potassium ; f=0.0667
+el: name=Magnesium ; f=0.085
+el: name=Aluminium ; f=0.064
+el: name=Silicon ; f=0.1533
Cheers

Sorry for my previous messages, I noticed that they were send in html format (thus they became unreadable). I send them again in text format. If someone could answer me, thanks in advance.
Hi,
I defined a new material as:
Macor: Zeff=10.047 ; A=20.253 g/mole ; d=2.20 g/cm3 ; state=solid
+el: name=auto ; n=1
in the GateMaterials.db for a structure I named outWin. The Gate display when setting this new material is:
/gate/outWin/setMaterial Macor
Macor : WARNING from G4Element::G4Element ! Trying to define an element as a mixture directly via effective Z.
Is my definition wrong? Has this message consequences on physics processes?
Thanks a lot for your reponses.

Greetings,
I'm trying to simulate a simple geometry to access only primary interactions. It consists of a block of lead (9cm thick), and I shoot gamma-ray (511keV, 10Bq for 1 sec) in one direction (Source-Surface Distance=10cm). I have no phantom. I set electron cut to 1 km, X- and Delta-Ray cuts to 1 GeV. I activate only photoelectric and Compton effects (low energy for both).
I finally obtain 14 events.
I cannot understand why I have so many Compton effects (20 single diffusions and 7 double) with nCrystalCompton (on the Hits branch) (attached) whereas I have only 10 LowEnCompton on the processName sheet (attached). Could someone explain it to me? The GATE display gives me well 10 Compton.
Moreover, on the Gate display, I can't understand this lines:

Why Gate tracks the electron #2 whereas it comes from a Compton effect? It is the only Compton electron tracked.
Has anyone explanation for it? Please help me.
