[gate-users] ROOT output...

Hi Nicolas,
To dig into the root files and get out portions of the data, the best
luck I have had is in modifying the benchmarkPET.C file. This file has
the basic structure needed to open and descend in to these files. Also,
use "TBrowser t" inside root to have a look at the data. The root
user's guide has lots of details that are useful, but it isn't written
in context that lends itself to easily getting at Gate's data.
Cheers,
ross

Subject: [gate-users] ROOT output...
Hi everyone,
I am working with GATE for sometime and since I am not a root expert, I
was
searching for some "Description of the root file content". Although
there
are a lot info on "Description of the ASCII file content" it's not the
same
with Root output. And there is not such a description (I guess) in root
user guide, since the output is defined in GATE.
If anyone has in mind any details about that, I would appreciate having
this reference.
Thanks in advance
Nicolas
