Hi Ywyang and all,

I have checked your GateSingles.dat files. Everything seems to be right.
I have downloaded the last version of GATE on the GATE web site. I have
recompiled the programm benchmark_spectra.c. My results are the following:

Number of counts for the total energy spectrum = 35901
Number of counts for the Unscattered spectrum =12778
Number of counts for the total scatter spectrum =23123
Number of counts for the crystal scatter spectrum =2345
Number of counts for the shie scatter spectrum = 2
Number of counts for the coll scatter spectrum = 114
Number of counts for the comp scatter spectrum = 439
Number of counts for the tabl scatter spectrum = 1008
Number of counts for the movs scatter spectrum = 4944
Number of counts for the Phan scatter spectrum = 14271
Number of counts for the order1 scatter spectrum = 11202
Number of counts for the order2 scatter spectrum = 6046
Number of counts for the order3 scatter spectrum = 2902
Number of counts for the order4 scatter spectrum = 1543
Number of counts for scatter orders greater than 4 spectrum = 1430

##########################################################################

Number of detected counts from 0.020 to 0.190 MeV : 35901
Unscattered events (percentage of total counts)= 35.59
Scatter in the crystal (percentage of total counts) = 6.53
Scatter in the shie volume (percentage of total scatter) = 0.01
Scatter in the coll volume (percentage of total scatter) = 0.32
Scatter in the comp volume (percentage of total scatter) = 1.22
Scatter in the tabl volume (percentage of total scatter) = 2.81
Scatter in the movs volume (percentage of total scatter) = 13.77
Scatter in the Phan volume (percentage of total scatter) = 39.75
Scatter order1 (percentage of total scatter) = 48.45
Scatter order2 (percentage of total scatter) = 26.15
Scatter order3 (percentage of total scatter) = 12.55
Scatter order4 (percentage of total scatter) = 6.67
Scatter orders greater than 4 (percentage of total scatter) = 6.18

My results don't agree with yours. Moreover, my results agree with the mean
results presented in the results_benchmark.doc files.
I think that your output file is OK and that your simulation is right. Perhaps
you could have done a mistake during the compiling of the *.c files.

Hope this help,

Assié Karine
