Dear Simone, Els and Long,
strange behavior; here, with Redhat 9.0 and root 3.10, both OpenGL
visualization and root outputs are working together. I do not think we
tried with Redhat 8 (jumped directly from 7.3 to 9.0)
When you said "root output", did you refer to both "root output"
(G4ANALYSIS_USE_ROOT) and "root real-time plotter"
(G4ANALYSIS_USE_ROOT_PLOTTER) ? If you disable only the root real-time
plotter, does OpenGL work ?
Could you please give us
1) your env_gate.csh file
2) the full output of "source env_gate.csh"
3) your macros
4) the full output of Gate running
