[gate-users] world XYZ position - Coincidence file

Hi Angela,

The digitizer section of the Users Guide describes how coincidences are
built from singles and singles from hits. It is this process that
defines the detection position within the scanner's geometry. There are
several options available that can alter the detection positions. Look
through chapter 9 and, in particular, look at the adder and readout
modules. I think this section will answer most of your questions.

Cheers,

ross

Subject: [gate-users] world XYZ position - Coincidence file

I have a question regarding the XYZ position (columns 4 through 6 and
"25"
through "27"). Is this the centroid of the interactions in the
detector,
the location of the photoelectric interaction or what? What does "the
position" mean since there are potentially quite a few interactions for
each event that should be considered.

Thanks,
Angela Foudray
