An alternative method is to compare the event IDs as random coincidences originate from different events and, as such, have different event IDs. You can find the code I've used here:

<div class="">It is very general question but if you want to know if a coincidence is random or not, you should consider definition of random coincidences. If gamma quanta which has been detected within time window, are from different annihilation or different
 sources, we call them random coincidences. By this definition you can have a look to your trees to see if 2 gamma quanta emitted from same source position, then  the coincidence is true. If the source position for those gamma quanta are different, then they
