I can't comment on Bin_GATE.c, but as an alternative you can try to use OMEGA software instead as it has built-in support for mCT and GATE:<a href="https://github.com/villekf/OMEGA" style="" id="LPlnk923136"> https://github.com/villekf/OMEGA</a>. Though be
sure to download the source instead of the current release as I haven't yet made a new official release.</div>

<b>Subject:</b> [Gate-users] BAD Sinograms for PET using Bin_GATE.c</font>
<div> </div>

<div>
<div dir="ltr">
<div>Dear Gaters,</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>After simulating a point source acquisition with mCT model, I binned my sinograms from ROOT output using Bin_GATE.c from OpenGates' website, BUT when displaying them, while those corresponding to segments close to zero are fine, those corresponding to
segments with large obliquity doesn't look good. I attached 4 pictures corresponding to segment-26 sinograms in 4 axial positions (4 oblique slices). One can clearly note that the sinogram in this segment is spread over several axial positions (and each axial
position contains counts in juste part of azimuthal angles 'phi' ), and the 4 axial positions are complementary. TAn image of the effect on the reconstructed image is also attached.
