<div dir="ltr">Dear fellow Gate users,<div><br></div><div>I managed to compile and install Gate with GPU support but with ITK and RTK turned <b>off</b>. I used gcc 5.3 as the cmake and cuda_host compiler which seemed to solve the problem.</div><div><br></div><div>Now I want to validate my install with the gpumacros/ct example. When I execute the main-gpu.mac, the setup works fine and the GPU memory is used accordingly, but it seems like only the first 2000 steps of the first photon are simulated after which the simulation stops with the message </div><div><br></div><div><font face="monospace, monospace">...</font></div><div><div style="font-family:monospace,monospace">sim 2000 0 / 500000 tot</div><div style="font-family:monospace,monospace">sim 2001 0 / 500000 tot</div><div style="font-family:monospace,monospace">WARNING - GPU reachs max step</div><div style="font-family:monospace,monospace">>> GPU: tot time 2.671409e-02</div><div style="font-family:monospace,monospace">====> GPU STOP</div><div style="font-family:monospace,monospace">...</div><div style="font-family:monospace,monospace"><br></div><div><font face="arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Both output-in.mhd and output-out.mhd are generated, however output-out is 0 everywhere and the 1D particle count in detector is also 0. </font></div></div><div><font face="arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><br></font></div><div><font face="arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Has anybody an idea how to troubleshoot this?
