<div style="direction: ltr;font-family: Tahoma;color: #000000;font-size: 10pt;">Hello, my fellow Gaters.<br>
<br>
I have run into a peculiar problem. I recently installed GATE onto a newer desktop computer with a Xeon 8-core processor for better simulation speeds. Though after a full run that took nearly 48 hours, I checked the performance and it turns out that GATE is
only using ONE of the eight cores to run its simulations. Has anyone else run into this problem or have any idea how to fix it? Even my Ubuntu savvy IT team member is stumped on this one. Any help would be most appreciated.
