Dear all,

The new Gate release version 9.2 <https://github.com/OpenGATE/Gate/releases>
is ready ! This is mostly a consolidation version, with bug corrections and
improvements. The big change is that Gate now compiles with the new Geant4
v11. Please, check the 20+ benchmarks
<https://github.com/OpenGATE/GateBenchmarks> that are run every time a
modification is performed. They can also help as examples. Also, GateTools
<https://github.com/OpenGATE/GateTools> have been improved with, for
example, the new Hausdorff distance tool, gamma index or conversion from
mask image to Dicom RTStruct.

Again, I would like to warmly thank all contributors
<https://github.com/OpenGATE/Gate/blob/develop/AUTHORS>, it is really a
volunteer-based collaborative effort and we are really grateful to all of
you!

We also like feedback. Please report any issues
<https://github.com/OpenGATE/Gate/issues> or ideas and do not hesitate to
propose some new development (just keep in mind that it is always better to
ask before proposing because other groups may have already started
something similar). The OpenGATE collaboration is always open, do not
hesitate to contact us if you wish to join as an institution.

The Gate development still continues. In the following month, we will
communicate about exciting future projects ... be prepared to learn Python
;)

The next OpenGATE collaboration meeting will be *19-20 may 2022*, hopefully
face to face (location tbd), more information soon!

Stay strong, open, have fun and do science!

for the collaboration,
David
