Dear all

We will provide live streaming of the talks during our symposium 3-4 November and also attempt to do this during the subsequent software training school 5-6 November. We also hope that we will be able to provide some of the talks online after the event. You can find the agenda and the details for the streaming on synergimrecon.org<https://eur01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fsynergimrecon.org%2F&data=02%7C01%7C%7Ccc13ce287e1f4511dc7608d75ef08666%7C1faf88fea9984c5b93c9210a11d9a5c2%7C0%7C0%7C637082259450804911&sdata=rlEz%2B6ejDlRwidl0ayO%2Fl5w2lYk4dza5DwrG8YaccCk%3D&reserved=0>. All times are in UK time (UTC+0).

Of course, we will give precedence to the local participants of the symposium in case of technical problems interfering with the streaming.

Sincerely

Subject: Symposium on Synergistic Image Reconstruction: extended submission/registration deadline 15th of September

Dear colleagues,

We have wish to wholeheartedly invite you to attend a two-day scientific symposium on Synergistic Image Reconstruction which will take place on the 3rd and 4th of November 2019 at the historical town of Chester (near Manchester) in the UK. The symposium will be followed by a two-day hands-on software training school on the Synergistic Image Reconstruction Framework<https://eur01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ccppetmr.ac.uk%2F&data=02%7C01%7C%7Ccc13ce287e1f4511dc7608d75ef08666%7C1faf88fea9984c5b93c9210a11d9a5c2%7C0%7C0%7C637082259450804911&sdata=Jc1EuPKnrmGLxFQetPe0%2BCSvAnMaR9SEXFsGfFcUr08%3D&reserved=0> (SIRF) and Core Imaging Library<https://eur01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ccpi.ac.uk%2FCIL&data=02%7C01%7C%7Ccc13ce287e1f4511dc7608d75ef08666%7C1faf88fea9984c5b93c9210a11d9a5c2%7C0%7C0%7C637082259450814913&sdata=dmtzUjwmGDQmkO5rUjtbczazxtqx6f02SnHMv1EuE7c%3D&reserved=0> (CIL) packages.

The event aims to bring together researchers from different scientific fields and application areas, including biomedical and industrial imaging, interested in novel methods and software for extracting multi-parametric imaging information from multiple datasets. The symposium will consist of invited talks by leading researchers and a poster session.

More information about the event and the registration procedure for both the symposium and software training school can be found at synergimrecon.org<https://eur01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fsynergimrecon.org%2F&data=02%7C01%7C%7Ccc13ce287e1f4511dc7608d75ef08666%7C1faf88fea9984c5b93c9210a11d9a5c2%7C0%7C0%7C637082259450814913&sdata=jecyzHfUQXL7%2F9VnLaKdcfCE4prTTNSkeMHWTJyVtxo%3D&reserved=0>. The extended submission/registration deadline is on the 15th of September, but space is limited so early registration is recommended.

Both events will be free of charge and a number of travel bursaries will be provided for a number of students and post-docs who will present posters.

Apologies for cross-posting. If there’s remaining space, we’ll send a final reminder to a smaller distribution list to minimise spamming your inbox.

Kind regards,

Chair, Kris Thielemans, UCL
