[Gate-users] question about secondary dose distribution in GATE_v6.2 and GATE_v7.1

Hello Zhang Hui,

A major change from Gate 6 to 7 was the ability to include 'prebuilt'
reference physicslists from Geant4, which you probably want to do, look
here:
http://geant4.web.cern.ch/geant4/support/proc_mod_catalog/physics_lists/useCases.shtml
and here the Gate 7.0 release notes:
http://www.opengatecollaboration.org/sites/opengatecollaboration.org/files/GATE-UsersGuideV7.0.pdf

Before, you had to compile lists yourself from various types of
interactions. If you are working with photons for example, you might not
need nuclear interactions, and save time. However, when you shoot particles
for which you forgot to include the correct physics, you may end up with
empty scorers.

You can still make your own physics (as was done <Gate7), but unless
there's a particular reason I would recommend against it and sticking to
one of the built-in lists.

Cheers,
Brent
