[Gate-users] Sensitivity

Hi Milad,

the best to start understanding how to use the information
from the GATE-simulation stored in a root file may be to
have a look at the PET-benchmark. Also the SPECT-version
may even be helpful. There you can see how to differentiate 
between different types of event and how they are counted
to finally calculate the number of detected events or
coincidences given a number of primary events.
Furthermore you can apply additional cuts to eliminate
scattered events, etc.

Probably some easier examples of using the root file and
how to apply a simple means to evaluate the simulation
you may also find within the EduGATE examples available
for free on the OpenGATE webpage. There are also
README-files available.
