Hello,

PreUserTrackingAction is the code mecanism that allow the Geant4 engine to
give you the possibility to do something when a new Track is about to start
(=Pre). And the PostUserTrackingAction: when a trackis about to end.

In the Geant4 terminology: an UserAction is a function called by Geant4 at
a given moment, and any user (user = geant4 developer) can implement this
function. We use this system in Gate, in the actor mecanism.

Also exist: Pre/Post Run/Event/Track, and SteppingAction (every step).

Sincerely,
David
