[Gate-users] How to: Generate reference attenuation maps..?

Hi,

Oh ! if you want a very realistic attenuation map (with realistic
properties) like those obtained using transmission scan or CT, yes. CT
simulations are very time consuming.
Although, I meant that you can write an independent program to create
voxelized maps that include simple geometric shapes and set the attenuation
coefficients of your choice in it.

That's the two ways to do this, and personally I recommend the second !
