Hi Anita,

OpenGL is standard on many Linux packages so you most likely do not need
to install it. You will need to recompile some of G4 to make sure its
libraries get built though and then recompile GATE.

Subject: [gate-users] Visutalization Tools

Hi

I've just finished installing GATE in my computer. I didnt install
neither OpenGL, nor DAWN, nor VRML before installing Geant4.

When i start GATE, the following message appears:

> You have successfully chosen to use the following graphics systems.
> Current available graphics systems are:
> DAWNFILE (DAWNFILE)
> VRML1FILE (VRML1FILE)
> VRML2FILE (VRML2FILE)

It doesn't say anything about OpenGL. I guess it's already late to
install it :(

It will work if I install some of the other
tools(DAWNFILE,VRML1FILE,VRML2FILE)now? How do I do to "attach" them to
GATE?. I'd like to visualize what i do.

Thank you in advance for your hints.

Anita.
