I'm not yet a GATE user (hope to become soon) and I would like to understand if GATE can respond to a necessity we have in our Dept, namely, to calculate patient specific organ doses when the patient undergoes CT examination.

That is, is it possible to model the CT as source, import patient CT study as gemoetry and calculate 3D dose map inside the patient with analogy to what GATE already does for External Beam Radiation Therapy?

Thank you for the help,
