I have just been through this process under Linux, though I failed
with LMF.<br>
<br>
For ECAT<br>
<br>
cd <Build Directory><br>
<br>
mkdir ecat Install<br>
<br>
cd ecat<br>
<br>
tar zxf - < {Location directory path}/ecat.tar.gz<br>
<br>
make -f Makefile.unix <br>
<br>
mkdir </font><font size="-1"><font size="-1"><Build
Directory></font>/Install/include<br>
mkdir </font><font size="-1"><font size="-1"><Build
Directory></font>/Install/lib<br>
cp *.h </font><font size="-1"><font size="-1"><font size="-1"><Build
Directory></font></font>/Install/include<br>
cp libecat.a </font><font size="-1"><font size="-1"><font
size="-1"><Build Directory></font></font>/Install/lib<br>
<br>
For Gate:<br>
Within ccmake ; select GATE_USE_ECAT7' 'ON', hit configure and
it will then require 'ECAT7_HOME'</font><br>
<font size="-1"><font size="-1"><Build Directory></font>/Install,
configure again, build makefile.<br>
<br>
LMF is essentially the same, though I got errors compiling Gate
with 'GATE_USE_LMF' 'ON' and the 'LMF_HOME' defined. As I don't
use LMF, I did not investigate further. You may have better luck<br>
