I am currently attempting to model carbon activation from a proton therapy beam of a solid water (PMMA) phantom in GATE.

I have the CT and PET images from our Philips Gemeni Big Bore PET/CT scanner in DICOM format. In addition, these images have been imported into our Eclipse treatment planning system (TPS).

From the GATE 7.0 Users Guide (http://www.opengatecollaboration.org/UsersGuide), I see that, unfortunately, DICOM will not be supported until version 7.1. I'm not familiar with the other formats listed, although I am somewhat familiar with ImageJ.

Does anybody have any advice on how I can import these voxelized images into GATE?

Thanks in advance.
Regards,
