Thanks for your fast response, but I was using the CLHEP 2.1.1.0 which was the highest version recommended by OpenGate for GATE 6.2 I haven't tried the later versions yet. I will do that tonight. And what do you mean by "Mavericks buildbot for MacPorts"? Do I need this port in-order to build it on Mavericks?

Which version of CLHEP are you trying to install? The problem you
mentioned has been fixed in CLHEP version 2.1.2.0 already (it was a
problem with clang/clang++ only, see
https://savannah.cern.ch/bugs/?89603).

I don't have Mavericks installed, but the Mavericks buildbot for
MacPorts had no problems compiling CLHEP version 2.1.3.1. With version
2.1.4.1 I had minor problems inside MacPorts, but if you are compiling
it manually, you shouldn't run into that.

Yes, I did. See the ticket referenced above.

The solution was to use newer software than the one referenced in the
above mentioned wiki page. Please also note that you might run into
various other problems if you are attempting to install Gate version
6.2 on the OS that's significantly newer than the software sources.
(Many problems present there have been fixed in the development branch
in the git repository.)
