<div dir="ltr">Hello Jérôme, <div><br></div><div>this is a first feedback with all mailing lists in copy to let everybody know, but we will then continue to discuss some technical points privately. </div><div><br></div><div>
First, it works well and will be very useful to lot of users, thanks really a lot ! As an example, here are a screenshots of a proton treatment plan (with only 10 protons). With the QT interface, we can then easily rotate all the scene and look what append. This feature will surely be included in the next version as it will allow users to easily check the orientation of their image in the scene. </div>
<div><br></div><div>Here are below a couple of technical details which should however be addressed before, and we can work together on that : </div><div><br></div><div>- first it only works with G4 9.6 version ; not with 9.5. It also has some trouble with version 10.0, but it is maybe not related to the visualisation. </div>
<div><br></div><div>- I tested on Linux, work perfectly</div><div><br></div><div>- I only tried with the QT version ; a weak point is that it is not possible to start the simulation from the command line. We need first to start "Gate --qt" than type "/control/execute mymacro.mac" into the gui. It should be more efficient if one only has to enter "Gate mymacro.mac" and the gui+simulation start together. </div>
<div><br></div><div>- what does : "/gate/image/vis/forceWireframe" ? is it needed ?<br></div><div><br></div><div>- what does : "/vis/drawVolume" ? </div><div><br></div><div>thanks again Jérome,</div><div>

<div><div><div><br>If you have answered YES to all of these questions, I would like that you take some time to try an experimental feature: image display with axial, sagittal and coronal planes in OpenGL. A screenshot of a mouse example is attached (opengl.gif).<br>
