</b>The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, Department of Radiology, Division of Nuclear Medicine is seeking a post-doctoral fellow, to start February 1<span style="font:9.0px Arial">st</span>, 2014. The research will take place in the Tomographic
Image Reconstruction & Analysis Laboratory of Dr. Rahmim, in collaboration with clinical research and imaging experts and an industrial partner, focusing on the development and validation of novel PET imaging techniques for translation into routine clinical
imaging. In particular, the post-doctoral fellow will develop innovative oncologic PET/CT image reconstruction, tracer kinetic modeling and tumor quantification algorithms and applications, including simulations and task-based image assessment in the context
of dynamic whole-body PET/CT imaging.</span></div>

<b>Requirements: </b>Qualified candidates will have a Ph.D. in physics, medical physics, biomedical or electrical engineering, or a related field, and established experience in the field of imaging. The candidate should have a strong interest and commitment
to research. Creativity with an aim towards independent research is highly emphasized. Prior experience in image reconstruction, algorithm development, simulations and/or kinetic tracer modeling is highly desirable. Knowledge of C programming and familiarity
with numerical methods is also preferred.</div>
