I initially intend to model a GE Discovery SPECT<a></a> system in my local department with a point/line source to validate the computational model. After this I intend to start modelling much larger sources such as cylindrical phantoms containing approximately 400MBq<a></a> of activity.</font></div> <div dir="ltr"><font face="tahoma"></font> </div> <div dir="ltr"><font face="tahoma">I do not have access to a cluster and initial experiments on my own PC (Q6600<a></a> quad core + 8GB<a></a> of memory) have proven to take considerable lengths of time.
