the axial extent of the coincidences allowable in 3D PET is characterized by the ring difference. I'm not sure if it is possible to use the digitizer to filter coincidences that are outside the maximum ring difference (e.g. to save memory). But if you use ecat7 output for getting sinograms you can use:<br>
/gate/output/ecat7/maxringdiff 79<br>
/gate/output/ecat7/span 3<br>
/gate/output/ecat7/mashing 1<br>
